Setup: Two players at the baseline. Feeder at the net.

  1. Feeder hits balls to the middle.
  2. Players call 'mine' or 'yours'.
  3. Hit and recover to position.
  4. Rotate.

Coaching cues

  • Call early
  • Forehand usually takes it
  • Trust your partner

Common mistakes

  • Both players going for the ball
  • No call

Progression: Play points with balls down the middle.

Coach's note: Clear calls prevent collisions.
